This closed bolt rifle features a forged steel receiver with claw extractor design cold hammer forged steel interchangeable 18.5 barrel with chrome-plated bore and chamber polymer buttstock with hydraulic recoil buffer system non-reciprocating charging handle removable heatshield folding bipod crossbolt safety Picatinny rail and disintegrating link belt feed system. The FN M249S Para sports a 16.1 barrel and collapsible buttstock.
